All at sea

First of the 1200mmx600mm display bases finished today. The sea painted dark blue, with black shading and the waves dry brushed white. Completed with a coat of satin yacht varnish.

  2. Looking great - I think I’m going the route of sawing the bottoms off the boats to give more placement flexibility - look away now kids !

  3. You are a brave man Ian. Chopping the hull is the best solution, but I was scared that I scuttled the fleet ! Let me know how you get on and I may do the same in the long term.
